Introduction activities
The GST and the Faculty of Science organise different activities based on the different types of study programmes and student groups. If you are unsure which activities apply to you, please consult the Flowchart intro GST.
SEC-specific activities organised by the Faculty of Science
The Faculty of Science organises an introduction for Science Education and Communication students at the start of the semester. Detailed information will be communicated via e-mail by the Faculty of Science.

GST Startweek for SEC - track Teacher Degree
The Startweek for Teacher Degree students will take place from Monday, 24 August to Thursday, 27 August 2026. This week is meant for all students starting with the course Professional in Praktijk 1(a). More information about the Startweek (such as the programme, prep work and more) can be found on the Dutch version of this website. Attendance is mandatory.
GST Startdag for SEC - track Teacher Degree
The Startdag for Teacher Degree students will take place on Tuesday, 25 August 2026. This day is meant for all students starting with the course Professional in Praktijk 2 (PiP2).
