Busy with studying, a part-time job, sports and social activities? A full agenda and additional performance pressure sometimes leave little opportunity for rest and can cause stress. Too much tension for too long can lead to high stress levels, which is unpleasant in the short term and unhealthy in the long term. In this workshop, you will learn how to recognise and deal with stress, for more grip and less restlessness.

After this workshop

  • you will understand how stress arises and which signals indicate it.
  • you will investigate which thoughts and beliefs contribute to your stress.
  • you will develop strategies to promote relaxation and healthy habits.
  • you will know a number of mindfulness exercises to find peace more consciously.

For whom

All UU students and (recent) graduates, and PhD students from all Graduate Schools.

Note: Given that this training is also open to PhD students, there is a small chance that you, as a student, will meet a lecturer during this training.
