Do you want to get a better grip on your life, increase your self-confidence and find a better balance between study, work and private life? The workshop ‘Strengthen your autonomy’ helps you deal with expectations, stress and emotions. You gain insight into your reactions and learn to make more conscious choices. The better you know yourself, the easier it is to navigate difficult situations. This interactive workshop offers practical tools to strengthen your autonomy.
After this workshop

- you know how to deal with performance pressure and choice stress.
- you can act more consciously and confidently in challenging situations.
- you have a personal manual as an end result, which helps you with future challenges.
For whom
All UU students and (recent) graduates, and PhD students from all Graduate Schools.
Note: Given that this training is also open to PhD students, there is a small chance that you, as a student, will meet a lecturer during this training.

Dates and practical information
The workshop has a duration of 10 weeks and is developed by Dr. Annerieke Oosterwegel, teacher and developmental psychologist. There are 5 interactive 2-hour group sessions with theory and experiential exercises. Between sessions, you will be asked to complete two practical assignments (max. half a day per assignment). Not only useful for your studies, but also for the rest of your life!
The upcoming series of training sessions will take place on the following dates in 2025:

- Tuesday 20 May
- Tuesday 3 June
- Tuesday 1 July
All training sessions will be held at Parnassos Cultural Center, room 2.03, and will run from 15:00 to 17:00. The trainer is Jacky Limvers.
