Perfectionism can bring many benefits: you produce high-quality work, you are kind and considerate to everyone, you make (almost) no mistakes. Unfortunately, this also comes at a price. Being perfect takes a lot of time and effort, and is sometimes exhausting. Do you feel you are being lived by your perfectionism? Do you want things to be different?

After this workshop

  • recognise your perfectionist patterns and their impact;
  • know how to build in more relaxation and self-compassion;
  • deal better with mistakes and expectations;
  • learn how to use techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to live more relaxed lives based on what really matters to you.

For whom

All UU students and (recent) graduates, and PhD students from all Graduate Schools.

Note: given that this training is also open to PhD students, there is a small chance that you, as a student, will meet a lecturer during this training.
