Bullying, gossiping, excluding or joking at someone's expense are among inappropriate behaviour, alongside (sexual) harassment, discrimination, and violence. Do you ever witness inappropriate behaviour? As a bystander, you can then choose to ignore this behaviour (passive bystander) or take action (active bystander). As an active bystander, you make a difference and contribute to naming and discussing inappropriate behaviour. By setting boundaries together, a culture change takes place and the continuation and normalisation of inappropriate behaviour is prevented as much as possible.
After this workshop
- you have learned to recognise signals of inappropriate behaviour.
- you will know what actions you can take yourself.
