R is a powerful programming language for data processing, data visualization, and statistics. In this workshop you will discover what R has to offer. The workshop focuses on the basics of working with R and data, and does not cover statistical analyses in R.
After this workshop
- you can read and write lines of R code (even if you do not understand all functions, you know how to look them up)
- you understand what ‘tidy’ data is, how to generate it, and work with it
- you can open, read, manipulate, save, and visualize a dataset, using tidyverse tools
- you can use RStudio, and use it to write an R script and an R markdown document
