Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Want to know what UU is doing when it comes to equality, diversity and inclusion? Then read more about the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion programme.

Inappropriate behaviour

If you have experienced inappropriate behaviour, such as (sexual) harassment, discrimination, aggression, violence or bullying, you can always contact someone in confidence. Together, you will look for help and the possibilities of filing a complaint. If you suspect that someone else is dealing with inappropriate behaviour, you can also come forward as a witness.

Talking to someone about inappropriate behaviour

In the active bystander workshop, you can learn to make a difference by naming and discussing inappropriate behaviour. Not everyone who encounters inappropriate behaviour can or dares do so themselves.

Concerns about domestic violence

Are you experiencing unsafety at home yourself, or do you suspect someone close to you is affected by this? You can contact Safe Home 24/7 on 0800 - 2000. You can find more information at Studentenzorgwijzer.nl - 'Geweld en Discriminatie'.

Want to talk to someone at the university first? Contact your tutor or study advisor, or make an appointment with the student psychologist. They can help you further.
