Writing a thesis is not always an easy process. There are several places you can go for guidance, depending on your needs.
Whom to contact?
- For content-related questions and guidance, it is best to contact your thesis supervisor, or ask a fellow student for help.
- The Skills Lab organises several events throughout the year for thesis writers. For when you have just started, all the way through to the final stages. These events can help you work on your thesis more successfully.
- Talking about your thesis helps! You can do this together with a writing coach from the Skills Lab. The (peer) coach asks you many questions and lets you look at your writing process and text in a different way, so you can get started with your thesis.
- There are also many workshops and courses you can take while working on your thesis. For creating a research design or writing your thesis without stress, take a look at the workshops pagefor all writing courses.

Stress complaints

Schedule an appointment with your study advisor if your stress is caused by or affects your studies. For stressful choices, you can contact a study choice advisor. You can also make an appointment with the student psychologists. Would you like help outside the university? Then visit the student care guide.
Talk about your experiences with your tutor, fellow students or lecturers. You can also participate in various training programmes offered by Utrecht University, an overview can be found here.

Problems with motivation
