Peer 2 Peer - Good Mourning
The death of a loved one may have a major impact on our lives. Whether it’s causing difficulties navigating university life, managing relationships with others, maintaining our mental and physical well-being, or struggling with concentration.
Grief is a unique process that every individual experiences in their own way. If you wish to connect with your fellow bereaved classmates over your shared experience, feeling free to address what you find difficult to share with anyone else, and feel able to hold space for others going through this process too, then “Good Mourning” is for you.
Losing someone to suicide: Our peer support groups include students grieving all types of death-causes. Please know that you are also very welcome to join Good Mourning when grieving a death by suicide.
I think this group is really valuable because it creates a safe space to share difficult emotions and experiences that aren't necessarily shared by others of my age group. I think the facilitators were really competent.
