First draft

Speedwriting can be done at different stages of the writing process and with various goals and outcomes. If you already know what your text is going to look like and you prepared an outline, then you can start speedwriting your first draft. That's what the video below is about.

Free writing

If you want to come up with ideas, you practice 'free writing.' You write down whatever comes to mind without censoring yourself. The key is to freely associate. In the video below 'free writing' is further explained.
