Skills booster: Effective note-taking

Maybe you do this too: typing or writing incredibly fast during a lecture to capture everything that's being said. You then have a fully written-out lecture, but have you actually understood what the lecturer has explained? And what do you do with all those notes? Often, they just end up somewhere on your desk until the exam is approaching. Fortunately, there’s a way to take better notes: the Cornell note-taking method.
