Student Psychologist

Sometimes you may feel stuck in your studies or personal life and could use some support. It’s important to find the right kind of help for your situation. The student psychologists offer accessible, short-term support for mild or study-related concerns and personal problems. To find out whether this support is suitable for your situation, we ask you to first go through our Support Finder. This will help you determine if a student psychologist can help you, or if support through your GP (general practitioner) would be more appropriate. When support through your GP is a better fit, our Guide to Getting Help offers practical information about finding suitable support and what to expect. This way, we aim to help you find the right route to appropriate support as quickly as possible.

In case of emergency

Contact your GP if your problems are serious and you cannot wait for an appointment with the student psychologists. Outside office hours or during the weekend, you can reach the GP post via 088 130 9670.

Are you having suicidal thoughts, or are you worried about someone with suicidal thoughts? Talk about it. Call 0800-0113 or chat via 113.nl. Available 24/7, anonymous and confidential. In case of acute situations, always call 112.

Short consultation, next steps and intake

After going through the support guide, do you think the student psychologist is the right option for you? Or are you unsure? If so, make an appointment for a 15-minute online consultation with a student psychologist, during which we’ll be happy to help you figure out the best next steps for you.
