CV-building

There are several ways you can add to your CV. These include for example: volunteering, board work, politics or entrepreneurship. Read more about volunteering and board work below.

Volunteering

Volunteering offers an opportunity to learn new skills, meet people and expand your network. In addition, it is a way to further develop yourself and discover where your interests lie. You usually get a lot of appreciation for your efforts, which not only feels good, but also contributes to your personal growth. By helping others, you not only make a difference in their lives, but also build your own future.

Board work

You are not only on a board for yourself, you are also making an important contribution to the academic community. Organisations like to see board or committee experience reflected on a CV, as they find that these students are more broadly developed and aware of their abilities.

In my opinion, for every student and (young) professional, gaining social and professional skills, in addition to programme-specific content and skills, is very important. Activities outside your studies offer an excellent opportunity to work on this.
