Step 4. During your exchange

While you are abroad, taking courses in another language, learning about a new culture and getting to know yourself and others better, your studies in Utrecht may be the last thing on your mind. However, there are a few things to take care of during your exchange:

Prepare for your return

Towards the end of your exchange, prepare for your return to Utrecht University. For example, keep an eye on the registration deadlines for courses in the upcoming semester and the deadlines for Erasmus forms (such as the Certificate of Attendance that must be filled out by the coordinator of your host university).

Report changes in the courses you follow

Inform your Board of Examiners as soon as possible if the courses you are taking differ from the courses that have been initially approved. You can find out how to do this on your degree programme page:
