Requirements | Language requirement: minimum of B1 language level (CEFR) in Italian is required. The International Office (UU Humanities) recommends a B2 level at the moment of exchange in order to fully participate in the courses..
The Language Centre offers the following courses: French, English, Russian, Spanish, German and Chinese as well as Italian for international students (Italian L2: CEFR from A2 to C1). Intensive Italian language “pre-courses” are offered before the beginning of each semester. Courses are free of charge for exchange incoming students. |

Housing assistance | Students can ask for information and support to the International Office to find an accommodation in Verona. After completing the application form (see Before Arrival section) students will be provided with information about types of available accommodation in Verona either in the ESU Residences or in private flats (International Students Union - ISU). The international exchange students will receive their ESU Card at their arrival in Verona. |
Estimated living costs per month | Living in Verona will cost approximately € 1000 per month. With this amount you will cover all basic living costs: Private Accommodation in town (single room in a shared student apartment: € 450 average per month, utilities included) Food per month: € 480 self-catered in apartments Books and academic supplies per semester per subject: € 100 Other expenses per month (i.e. public transport, health insurance etc… € 50)
