| Requirements | Language Requirement It is essential that your Spanish language skills are good enough for you to follow an academic course. B2 level of Spanish is required for students applying to courses from the Faculty of Philology, Facultad de Ciencias de la Información, Facultad de Bellas Artes and Facultad de Comercio y Turismo For the Faculty of Psychology: From the academic year 2025/26 it would be recommended for students to demonstrate a B2 level, and this recommendation will become a requirement from the academic year of 2026/27 onward. Important!: Students who meet the Spanish B1 requirement at the time of application at UU (1st of December) are given priority. For all other available spots: students must meet the required Spanish language level at the time of nomination! Master: A level of C1 or higher in Spanish is recommended for students enrolling in Master's courses. Again some faculties require a B2-level certificate. UCM offers a free Spanish Language Course for levels below C1 to students who ask for it when applying, but it will not provide you with an official Language Certificate. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Areas of study open to UU students | Study: Most areas, except Medicine, Pharmacy, Odontology, Veterinary Medicine, which are excluded from the agreement. You will be nominated under 1 Subject Area (for example Marketing). You must follow at least 3 courses within this Subject Area and you are allowed to take max 2 courses at 1 other Subject Area / faculty.
