Areas of study open for exchange students

Please note that there are 2 campuses, one in Abo (Turku) and one in Vaasa. The faculty of Education and Welfare Studies is located in Vaasa, the other faculties are located in Turku. You cannot mix courses from the different locations.

Exchange students at ÅAU can take part of courses at University of Turku (UTU), free of charge. There are some restrictions to the courses that exchange students can take part in at UTU: you can not take courses from the Turku School of Economics and Business, and language courses are only possible if they have available seats (UTU students are prioritised). A maximum 50% of the total amount of your credits can be from UTU; the rest has to be from ÅAU.
