Personal Activities

As an individual, you are central to the theme personal. We are happy to talk about what concerns you. Making it possible to discuss what is going on can provide insights for new ideas and possibilities where there initially seemed to be only barriers.

During the wellbeing week, there is room for one-on-one conversations with an expert. When you are not available at these moments, several open hours with the study advisor and student psychologist are planned as well. Also, there is the possibility to dive into inspiring conversations with fellow students at the activity organised by Skillslab. Finally, study tips about how to study efficiently and how to prepare your exams are discussed. That way, you can end this semester relaxed.

2. Do you have questions on your mind or have you been wanting to make an appointment with a student psychologist, but you’re experiencing doubts or have been unable to make it happen yet?

During the wellbeingweek, the student psychologists are holding walk-in consultation hours. During these walk-in hours, we discuss what your needs are and what we could do for you in a conversation of approximately five minutes. Afterwards, we will give you an open-ended appraisal to either book an appointment with us, or we may refer you elsewhere within the university or recommend you consider contacting your General Practitioner to provide you with help that other organisations are better suited to give you. The times and locations of the walk-in consultation hours are as follows:

Time and Location

  • Drop in for 5 minutes between 11.00 - 12.00, Studiepunt rechten, Janskerkhof 3
  • Drop in for 5 minutes between 15.00 - 16.00  Uithof, Bestuursgebouw, kamer 1.80a

The day has gone by and nothing has progressed again? Didn't you find the time to study? You want to start, but it doesn't work out. Why do you keep hating that thesis?

During the Well-being week you can find out with a teacher or peer coach what can help you with this. In a (speed) date you make a kind of self-analysis and you get more insight into what stands in your way. Is it a matter of knowing (what and how), wanting and / or being able to? And then: where and how can you improve this so that you can (learn to) tackle your study tasks with more pleasure and success.

Time:  10-20 minutes between 12.00 - 14.00
Location: Marinus Ruppert building, hall
Language: English and Dutch

The Skills Lab Writing Centre offers free writing tutoring. You can discuss your academic writing assignment with a trained student (peer tutor). The tutor can help you with things like finding a more efficient approach, sharpening your core message, writing a well-structured text, or improving your writing style.
