As all our experiences are in our mind, meditation is the ultimate lifehack for me.

Did you already meditate yourself?

“I already meditated myself before I went to the meditation lab for the first time. However, I did not have a really regular practice. What I did have was a deep interest for it and I tried to find a way to meditate correctly.

Why do you go to the meditation lab?

“The meditation lab is on a weekly basis so that’s why I am always reminded that I committed to this practice and I do want to keep it going. Coming here every week helps me to remind me of that but also inspires me again since every time you meet other people who also have the same kind of interest. So I have different experiences but it is always like getting you back on track in a way.”

Why do you meditate?

“Meditation helps me everyday with everything because it’s like a restart for the mind. The more I meditate the more I start to realise what’s actually the potential of this practice. I have the feeling I start to see more how the mind actually functions and works and as all our experiences are in our minds it’s like the ultimate lifehack to me.”

It’s just a moment to breathe for a second. Something I think we don’t do often enough in our daily lives.

What is so powerful about the meditation lab?

“The meditation lab helps you get more calm in the stress of daily life. Meditating together is very different from meditating alone. I think because there is a group energy where you are empowering each other. That is why the meditation lab is such a good practice to do because you help each other to get calm and feel the effect more than when you do it alone. Also we have someone guiding us who is experienced and can help us with that.”

Did you have experience with meditation?

“I did meditate a little bit before. I went to one of those courses where you are silent for 10 days. After that all I could think was: Wow this is really powerful! But because you are so busy in daily life it gets lingered on and you don’t do it. The meditation lab helps you stay disciplined a little more and then you can pick it up yourself easier because you are in the vibe.”

What’s the effect on your daily life?

“The effect of going to the meditation lab in your daily life is that you just pause for a minute and you observe. Then you might suddenly realise that you are actually a bit tired and are doing a lot of things at the same time. It’s just a moment to breathe for a second. Something I think we don’t do often enough in our daily lives.”

“It’s really helping me to destress a bit”

What is your experience with the mediation lab?

“My experience with the meditation lab? Well, so far I have been coming here for a month and a half and it’s really been helping to destress a bit.”

What do you like about meditating in a group?

“I don’t have much experience meditating alone but I really like the group part because it’s the same for me if I go to a sports training with other people. You get forced to do it and you get more motivation because there are other people doing it as well. And for me that really helps.”
