Nanomaterials Sciences is a two year (120 EC) multidisciplinary programme with subject areas in the field of catalysis, colloid science and nanophotonics. In this two-year Master’s programme, you will gain in-depth knowledge on, and experimental experience with, novel nanomaterials and their synthesis, structure, and applications – for example, as catalysts or in nanophotonics. This programme has been revised and will be effectuated for students who start this programme as of September 2016.
Students who entered the programme Nanomaterials: Chemistry & Physics follow the corresponding curriculum which will remain valid till August 31, 2018.

The Dutch Master's Selection Guide (Keuzegids Masters 2017) ranked Utrecht University's Nanomaterials Science programme as the best in the field of Chemistry in the Netherlands. You can read more about this in this article which is only available in Dutch.
