Nanomaterials Sciences is a two year (120 EC) multidisciplinary programme with subject areas in the field of catalysis, colloid science and nanophotonics. In this two-year Master’s programme, you will gain in-depth knowledge on, and experimental experience with, novel nanomaterials and their synthesis, structure, and applications – for example, as catalysts or in nanophotonics.

Students chose the Master's programme Nanomaterials Science at Utrecht University as the best programme in the field in the yearly review 'Beste studies' by Elsevier.

    • Ten science students receive prizes from KHMW

      On 27 November, The Royal Holland Society of Sciences and Humanities (KHMW) presented 67 incentive awards to first-year students and 20 graduation awards to Master's students. There were three Science faculty winners among the Master's thesis awards and seven among the incentive awards this year.
