"Hi! My name is IJsbrandt van Liere and this year I am the assessor of the Freudenthal Institute. I graduated in Religious Studies with two minors in Ancient Culture and Language and Law. I am now in my second year of the Master's programme in History and Philosophy of Science."

"As an assessor, I am a member of the board of the Freudenthal Institute and represent the students of the Master's programmes in History and Philosophy of Science and Science Education and Communication. “University” is a Dutch adaptation of the Latin word “universitas”, which means “whole”. This refers to the whole community of scholars and students. It is particularly important at this time that we are one with the university, a whole in which we complement each other rather than tear each other down, and build bridges that we can walk across together into the future. This requires clear communication, realistic expectations and the maintenance of a healthy social environment. My goal is to contribute to this in a positive way."
