Study programme
The master's programme Business Informatics is a full-time two year (120 EC) research programme leading to a MSc degree in Information Science. Every MBI student develops an analytical perspective by studying for the courses and by conducting research. Each student specializes by selecting one track – either software, data, or process – which leads to the selection of thematically aligned courses and activities. The analytical perspective is the mind- and skill-set that is necessary for professions such as ICT consultants, product managers, data and business analysts. In addition, MBI students can specialize further by choosing one additional perspective: entrepreneur or researcher. In all cases, students will take written examinations, undertake projects, participate in group activities, and write scientific papers.
