Courses
The curriculum in the master's programme Applied Data Science consists of the following parts:
- a mandatory multidisciplinary course (14 EC), that gives an overview of the tools and skills to use and evaluate data science methods. The course is designed to provide a variety of techniques that can be used across different science and business applications.
- a mandatory colloquium series (2 EC)
- a selection of four elective courses (30 EC) from the list of pre-approved elective courses.
- a mandatory research project (14 EC). The thesis is the sum of the entire master’s education: demonstrate the ability of the student to formulate, conduct and present research. The topics span multiple application domains. It also creates opportunities to collaborate with external partners.
NOTE : Please be aware that in the Academic Year 2023-2024 the enrollment in the electives will be done through Pre-Enrollment form (details were sent by the programme coordinator to all the students enrolled in the Applied Data Science Master’s programme)
