Solis-id and email

Before you start your studies at Utrecht University, you will receive a Solis-id and email address, which will give you access to various educational platforms that are important for your studies.

What is my Solis-id?

Your Solis-id is your 7-digit student number, which you will receive after registering via Studielink. You can find this number in your messages. New students will receive their Solis-id and a link to the password portal by email. You can find more information on the page about the Solis-id.

What is my Solis email and how do I log in?

All students receive a UU email address. You will have received your email address at your private email address (which you registered in Studielink).

Log in via your browser

  • Go to Outlook
  • Use your UU email address as your username (for example: j.a.johnsson@students.uu.nl) and your Solis password, and (if necessary) your 2FA.
