Saving and sharing files

As a student, you can easily share files with fellow students and teachers via programs such as OneDrive and SURFfilesender. For secure storage, you can use the U drive via UU computers or SolisWorkspace on your own computer. Make sure you protect your files with passwords and encryption and make regular backups.

OneDrive

All employees and students can use OneDrive free of charge. You have 1 TB of storage. This is part of Office 365.

SURFfilesender

With SURFfilesender you can send files to anyone, including people outside Utrecht University and organizations that are not affiliated with SURF. If someone wants to send you files, you can send a 'voucher' as a SURFfilesender user.
