Platforms and study software

As a student at Utrecht University, you will have access to various educational platforms and software that you can use for your studies. Most platforms and software can be used by logging in with your Solis-id.

Platforms

  • Osiris In Osiris you can register for courses, view your grades and change your address details.
  • Blackboard Blackboard is UU's electronic learning environment. Here you can submit assignments and share information about your courses and studies.
  • Videoplatform With the video platform you can record, upload, edit and share education-related knowledge clips. This can be done at home or in special studios on campus.
  • MyUU app The MyUU app provides access to your student card, library card, personal timetable and your grades from Osiris. You can download the app in the Appstore.

Software

  • SolisWorkspace As a student at UU, you can use the software you need for your studies for free via SolisWorkspace.
  • Software In addition to SolisWorkspace, the university offers a number of applications and packages (such as Microsoft 365) that you can install on your own computer.
  • Surfspot In addition to SolisWorkspace, the university offers a number of applications and packages (such as Microsoft 365) that you can install on your own computer.
