Financial provisions

You may be eligible for financial support from Utrecht University. There are various options and arrangements.

• Financial support UU during study delay Are you (possibly) experiencing a study delay due to circumstances beyond your control? Read what you can do here.
• Provisions DUO (e.g. in the case of study delay) If you experience study delay or are forced to terminate your studies due to special circumstances, you might be eligible for several provisions from DUO.
• Board grants Do you want to do a board year and are you curious about the financial compensation? Read more about board grants.
• Elite sports Are you an elite athlete and do you want to know whether you are eligible for financial compensation during your studies? Read more here.
• Financial support for students completing programmes without renewed accreditation If your programme is no longer accredited and you cannot follow it at another university, you could be eligible for support
• Financial support for internationalisation If you study/do research at a partner institution of the UU outside the EU/EEA, you may be eligible for an NL Scholarship
