Youth Think Tank Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs open for applications

Vacancy The West Wing

Applications are open for the West Wing 2024-2025!

Are you interested in international issues? Are you a student or (young) professional, and motivated to work with others for a year on a challenging policy question? Have you always wanted to provide the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with solicited and unsolicited advice? Then sign up from August 17 for The West Wing, the official youth think tank of and for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs!

This year's tracks are about the role of Dutch public diplomacy in China, political and economic opportunities around the Middle Corridor, strengthening soft power in Africa and climate and sustainability in India!

In addition, a new type of track will be launched this year: Track Unsolicited Advice (TOA) in collaboration with the Advisory Council on International Affairs (AIV). This track will take place online, so young people who are unable to travel to The Hague every two weeks can also participate. Unlike the four regular tracks, in the beginning we will brainstorm together on a topic on which we want to write an advice, then we will work this out in the form of an advice.

Are you interested in participating in The West Wing and would like to learn more about the work of the think tank? Then sign up for the digital information evening on Aug. 26 as well!
Signing up as a track member at The West Wing can be done until September 4, 11:59 p.m.
