Wanted: student assistant for innovative educational project @UCU

Now for a second year, University College Utrecht is running an innovational project for improving student ownership of the curriculum. We are presently looking for a student assistant for the final stage of the project.

In the next few months the tools that have been developed will be evaluated. These include a redesign of the student support part of the website (including infographics), and a new version of the Course Planner. Another part of the project is a pilot to test if Microsoft Teams will serve us as a means for tutor-student communication.

The core tasks of the student assistant will be

  • Organise focus group sessions for students and staff members (these sessions will be led by members of the project team)
  • Transcribe and analyse the findings and report back to the project team.

We expect you to be available for about four hours a week from March to the end of May. In peak weeks, you may be asked to work some extra hours. You will be paid by worked hour.

How to apply

Send a short motivation and your Curriculum Vitae to Dr Joris Veenhoven, email: j.veenhoven@uu.nl before Thursday 12 March 2020.
