Wanted: Student Assessor to the Executive Board 2026–2027 (1.0 FTE)

Are you a committed student who enjoys contributing ideas on developments in education and student life at Utrecht University? If so, you might be interested in becoming a student assessor to the Executive Board.

The role

The Executive Board of Utrecht University is seeking a student assessor for the academic year 2026–2027. You will advise the Executive Board and highlight the student perspective in decision-making. You maintain a good relationship with students within the university and are well informed about what is on students’ minds. With this knowledge, you will make an important contribution to decision-making at university level.

As an adviser, you will attend the weekly Executive Board meetings, meetings with the University Council, and other consultations relevant to the role. You will also be involved in various projects, consulting with various policy officers in the process. There is also scope for your own ideas. You will consult regularly with the rector magnificus, who is responsible for education and students on the Executive Board. You will maintain a good relationship with the student assessors from the faculties, the student organisations at Utrecht University and student representatives on the university’s consultative bodies.
