Use late enrolment for the course Knowledge for Society in Block 2

Interested to identify the organisations or people with whom you can and want to share your knowledge, and how to do that effectively? Looking for an internship in collaboration with societal partners? Then the course 'Knowledge for society' is made for you.
In this course you will find out how researchers of the humanities can make good use of their academic knowledge and skills in society and how you can actively contribute to societal needs. You will learn about societal impact through cultural entrepreneurship, community-based research, and commissioned research.
At the end of the course, you will create a project plan in one of the following three formats:
- a business plan for a business or non-profit cultural enterprise;
- a research project done in collaboration with societal partners;
- a research project commissioned by an external partner.
Enrolment and important information
'Knowledge for Society' takes place in Block 2 and is part of the stageminor ‘Geesteswetenschappen in de beroepspraktijk’, but you can also enrol in the course without doing that minor. After the course ends, you can carry out your project as an internship.
You can still enrol in this course, during the late enrolment days on 23 and 24 October 2023. The course is in English. You can find the course in Osiris and the Course Planner using course code TC3V19001.
