Until 7 May 2020, Utrecht University students were able to stand as candidates for the University and Faculty Councils. We now know who did! You can vote for them during the elections that will be held from Tuesday 2 until Thursday 4 June 2020. Who are you going to vote for? Check out the candidates today.
Thinking along and giving advice
At Utrecht University, students, grant-PhD candidates and employees have their say on university policies. They also give advice to the university governors. In this respect, it is important to have a well-organised advisory body in place. The University Council is the advisory body of Utrecht University and consists of students, grant-PhD candidates and employees. The Faculty Council is the counterpart of the University Council at the faculty level.
Four student parties
There are four student parties and more candidates than seats which means that elections will be held from 2 until 4 June, 2020. Click here for the names of the candidates and to see what the parties stand for.
