Studying abroad

Want to expand your horizons and add extra challenge to your studies? And do you want to increase your chances on the (international) labor market? Then follow part of your studies abroad! It often means a beautiful and unforgettable time, is a good addition to your CV and is good for your personal development.

The first round students are selected for the exchange destinations of their choice, however there are still enough remaining places for all kind of destinations. On February 14th the list with remaining places will be published here: https://students.uu.nl/en/academics/study-abroad/step-1-orientation/remaining-places. Application for an exchange period will open also on that day!

Especially for GSS students I would like to mention the two places at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). They have a broad range of sustainability courses and the places are only available for GSS students. Please visit the website to read all about it. Another interesting destination for only GSS students is Leuphana Universität Lüneburg (Germany).

Follow the steps in the navigation (left) to organize your study abroad. Start at Step 1: Orientation and choose your destination. All about study abroad is available on the website of your programme or here: https://students.uu.nl/en/academics/study-abroad

Very interesting for Earth Sciences students is the contract with Colorado School of Mines (Golden). We are very proud that we were able to extend this contract for another 5 years for 2 students per year.  Please visit the website to read all about it.
