Student representatives USG wanted!
Would you like to influence education, contribute to policy-making and represent the interests of B&O students? For the coming academic year, we are looking for enthusiastic students to fill various student representative and executive roles within the USBO. This is a great opportunity to gain administrative experience, expand your network and make a tangible contribution to the programme.
We are looking for students for the following positions:
USBO student assessor
As a student assessor, you will represent all B&O students on the USBO departmental board. This board discusses strategic education and research themes, as well as financial, organisational and personnel matters.
What does it involve?
- A board meeting every two weeks (including preparation) + a few away days
- Becoming part of Studentbelang
- Liaising with Law and Economics
- Remuneration for 4 hours per week (in line with the hourly rate for student assistants)
Degree Programme Committee (2 student members wanted)
As a student member of the Degree Programme Committee, you will contribute ideas on the quality of the programme alongside fellow students and lecturers. You will provide solicited and unsolicited advice to the Bachelor’s and Master’s boards and represent students on substantive educational issues.
What does it involve?
- 7 meetings per year (2 hours each)
- Having a say on an equal footing with lecturers
- Becoming part of Studentbelang
- Remuneration in accordance with faculty guidelines
Student member of the Bachelor’s Board
Contribute ideas on Bachelor’s education and have a say on topics such as programme evaluations, course offerings, innovations and investments in the programme.
What does it involve?
- 7 board meetings per year
- 2 meetings with all course coordinators
- Becoming part of Studentbelang
- Remuneration in accordance with faculty guidelines
Student member of the Master’s Board
Help shape the content and development of the Master’s programme, together with the Director of Education and Master’s coordinators.
What does it involve?
- 7 board meetings per year
- 2 meetings with all course coordinators
- Becoming part of Studentbelang
- Remuneration in accordance with faculty guidelines
