Student column competition Clingendael Spectator
Besides analyses, interviews, opinions, series and book and movie reviews, the Clingendael Spectator regularly publishes columns. In these, pundits describe what caught their eye in the news about international politics from their respective expertise. Students often have a refreshing look on global politics. Therefore, twice a year, we invite students to write a column for us.
The Clingendael Spectator editors challenge students to write a column (NL/EN) of up to 800 words and send it to spectator@clingendael.org before 13 May, 2024. Of course, the column may be based on a study assignment or thesis, as long as it formulates a refreshing perspective and clear opinion. The winning column will be published on the Clingendael Spectator website.
