Sign up now for the Education Fair on 3 March 2016!

If you're looking to get inspired about learning, come join us at the annual Education Fair on 3 March 2016. Students are warmly encouraged to take part in a diverse programme centred around the theme of An Educated Guess: inspiration, stimulation, control, freedom, community and identity. Other universities will also be represented at this special Lustrum edition.

What's there to do?

The Education Fair offers a large and varied programme for students, teachers and other university staff.

This year's keynote speaker will be Prof Dr James Kennedy, dean of University College Utrecht. Dr Kennedy is an American historian who has been working in the Netherlands since 2003.

Afterwards, there will be a wide range of interactive parallel sessions and open activities. Here are just a few examples: See for yourself how you can visualise curriculum strands using a web tool; Stay current with the latest developments surrounding MOOCs; Learn about intercomprehensibility and the best ways to tackle group assignments; Discuss subjects like student commitment and tailored curriculums. Take a look at the programme.

As all this is going on, there will still be ample opportunity to network and chat in the Fair Café. And don't forget: The winners of the Teacher Awards will be announced at the end of the afternoon. We'll close things out with festive drinks.

Register to attend the Education Fair here. Registration will be open through 25 February. You'll receive confirmation after you register.
