Or would you like to learn more about the opportunities and challenges presented by education innovation? Then sign up for Utrecht University’s Education Innovation Think Tank!
In this think tank, you will join a small group of around 10 students to brainstorm about the education of the future. The think tank consists of a training programme, where over the course of five monthly sessions (from February to June 2020) you will dive deeper into a number of education projects currently underway at the university. As Utrecht University strives to include the students’ perspectives on education, you will have an opportunity to brainstorm about the continued development of these projects. You will also have a chance to develop your own creative ideas that might just lead to new education innovation projects as well! A variety of experts will assist the team during the sessions of the think tank.
The topics and projects dealt with during the think tank include:
- applications of online education (in the pilot project Virtual Exchange)
- the classroom of the future (in the project (Future) Learning Spaces)
- Open Badges in higher education (in the pilot project Edubadges)
- And much more
What is in it for you?
Participating in the think tank will give you an opportunity to learn more about what education innovation entails, which applications are available, and the current topics in the field. It will also give you a chance to expand your network and acquire skills such as cooperation, discussion, consulting, planning and organising. Plus, participation in the think tank will earn you a unique badge you can share on LinkedIn and your CV.
The think tank will take place from February to June 2020.
