Sign up for the Student Think Tank of Utrecht University!

Would you like to contribute to improving education at your university? Would you like to know more about educational innovation? And about what takes place ‘behind the scenes’ when it comes to organising and developing education? Then sign up for Utrecht University’s Student Think Tank!

Utrecht University is constantly working on improving and renewing education. Input from students is essential for this as education is for students. Therefore it is important to include the perspective of this group. With this in mind, the Student Think Tank has been developed.

In the Student Think Tank you will think about the education of the future together with a small group of about 15 students. The Think Tank consists of five meetings (between March and July 2023), with each meeting focusing on one education project. During each session, an expert will first provide you with more information on the background and context of the project. Then, through several group assignments (challenges), you can provide specific and valuable input on the project. This input will actually be included in the further implementation of the educational projects. This way, you get the chance to influence the development of education at this university

The projects that will be discussed this year are, among others:

What is in it for you?
Participating in the Think Tank will give you more knowledge about what happens 'behind the scenes' when it comes to organising and developing education. In addition, participation offers you the opportunity to expand your network and gain skills such as collaborating, discussing, brainstorming, advising and organising. Moreover, you can mention your participation in the think tank as an extra-curricular activity on LinkedIn and your CV.

Please sign up before Wednesday February 8 by sending an e-mail with your motivation and cv to: a.y.dejong@uu.nl. You will be informed of your selection for the Think Tank by 15 February.

The Think Tank is being organised by the Centre for Academic Teaching and Learning.
