Pilot project: one FSBS building stays open late for one day a week

During period 1, one building of the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences (FSBS) will stay open late for one day a week. This will alternate between the Langeveld building and the Sjoerd Groenman building. The first building to stay open late will be the Langeveld building, on Thursday, 15 September.

Both FSBS buildings have been closed in the evenings for quite some time now. The study associations have stated that they would occasionally like to organise evening activities for their student members. Therefore, an ‘evening opening hours’ pilot will start in period 1 of the new academic year. This pilot is good news for both staff and students: they are welcome to work or study in the relevant FSW building during the evening opening hours.

What does the evening opening hours pilot entail?

Under the pilot project, one FSBS building will stay open until 22:00 hours for one day a week during period 1. This will alternate between the Langeveld building and the Groenman building.
