Pick up diplomas yourself

From September you can pick up your diploma at the Student Information Desk Humanities by appointment. Did you graduate after March 2020? Unfortunately in that case, it will take a little longer for your diploma to be ready for you.

Graduated before March 2020
  • Picking up your diploma: You can book an appointment to collect your diploma at the Student Information Desk Humanities in the course of September. Don't forget to bring a valid ID. On our Graduation page, we will post updates which study programme is ready for pick-up. Should someone pick up your diploma on your behalf? Send an email to ExamensecretariaatGW@uu.nl.
  • Have your diploma sent by post: Should your diploma be sent by post? You will receive notification of shipping in October at the latest.
Graduated after March 2020
  • Picking up your diploma: Unfortunately, your diploma won't be ready in September. 5 days after the graduation ceremony, you can pick up your diploma by booking an appointment at the Student Information Desk Humanities. Please bring a valid ID. Should someone pick up your diploma on your behalf? Send an email to ExamensecretariaatGW@uu.nl.
  • Have your diploma sent by post: If you wish to have your diploma sent by post, you will receive a message from us one month after the graduation ceremony at the latest.

Do you need your diploma urgently?

Do you need your diploma in a hurry and is a graduation statement not enough? Please send an e-mail to ExamensecretariaatGW@uu.nl. In the subject line state Urgent diploma needed + your student number and clearly indicate the deadline and your motivation.

A graduation statement is often sufficient if, for example, you want to apply for an master's programme or start a job. Send an e-mail to ExamensecretariaatGW@uu.nl in case you need a graduation statement.
