Opening Academic Year and festive welcome UMC Utrecht - 4 and 5 September

The official opening of the academic year 23-24 is on September 4. The UMC Utrecht provides a festive welcome for the students!

• The Education Center gives all students a nice and handy gift: a cool, durable and solid cup to go, because disposable cups are now taboo in the HvdB. With this, the OWC anticipates the ban that will take effect on 1 January 2024 for public buildings, including the UMC Utrecht.
• You will receive a delicious smoothie and coffee/tea (in the new cup). With the cup you get a flyer with two vouchers for the coffee and the smoothie.
• The barista is located at the new Teaching Plaza, a new meeting place for students and teachers.
• There is a competition for students (guess the weight of Breathe in, Breathe out, as the large glass chandelier is officially called), the prize is an annual museum pass.
• The UMC Utrecht provides a spectacular act at the entrance of the HvdB: sign jugglers with DJ! The sign jugglers will be active on Monday 4 September between 13.00 and 16.00 and Tuesday 5 September between 10.00 and 13.00.
