New student assessor Faculty of Science: Joy Lammerts

Who represents all Science students on the board this year? Joy Lammerts! She introduces herself:

"I am Joy Lammerts and will be the student assessor of the Faculty of Beta Sciences this coming year. This means that I take a seat on the faculty board and give my opinion and advice on issues from a student perspective.

I grew up in the Utrecht area. So Utrecht has always been my city. I am still in my Biology Bachelor's programme, where I am mainly interested in plant biology and ecology. I also did a year at study association UBV. What I want to focus on next year is maintaining, and where necessary improving, the communication between the faculty and students. I am also interested in many matters at board and policy level and hope to be able to give a fresh opinion on these. Besides the faculty meetings, I also attend the meetings of the programme directors to give my student opinions on the undergraduate programmes.
