More students cast their vote for University Council than last year

From 14 – 16 May you could cast your vote for the candidates for the  University Council and the Faculty Councils of Science, Humanities, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Social and Behavioural Sciences, and Law, Economics and Governance. Eventually 26.8% of the students did this for the University Council. This is the highest turnout percentage since 2003. Last year, 26.3% of the students voted. On Friday 18 May, it was announced which students will join the University Council in academic year 2018-2019. Have a look which twelve students will be a member of the council from 1 September 2018.
