More social activities allowed by study associations
Quiz or film night allowed, drinks not (yet)
From 14 February onwards, study associations will be allowed to organise more social activities for up to 75 people. This means that lectures, film evenings and quizzes, for example, can take place in our buildings again during the current opening hours. Drinks and receptions are not allowed at this moment.
For all these activities, faculty permission is no longer required to book with FSC (or the education secretariat).
On 15 February there is a new press conference with possibly more options for activities. How or what is allowed you will hear in the coming weeks via the corona update and/or via the faculty.
Please note:
In the Utrecht University Hall (Academiegebouw) there are still adjusted rules concerning the capacity. All halls are still at 1.5 metres because of the academic ceremonies and rules for other meetings. Please take this into account with regard to the size of your group.
To reserve rooms in the University Libraries you can send a request to bibliotheek@uu.nl, with the following information: name and contact details booker, study association, date and times of the meeting, group size and set-up, nature of the activity. After approval from the University Library, any catering and/or AV equipment can be ordered separately via FSC.
