Last chance: put yourself forward as a candidate for the University Council or Faculty Council
Do you have ideas on how we can improve the university and do you want to participate in important decisions? Put yourself forward as a candidate for the Faculty Council or University Council (U-Council) and contribute to the direction of our university. You can stand for election until 9 April 2026.
Why should you stand as a candidate?
As a member of one of the participation councils, you get the chance to make your voice heard on important issues. As a council member, you represent the interests of your colleagues and give solicited and unsolicited advice to administrators. You will help think about topics such as budget cuts, workload, social safety and sustainability.
What does it get you?
As a councillor, you will have the opportunity to expand your network and develop your skills. You will gain experience in negotiating, debating and strategic thinking.
How to apply?
You can stand as a candidate until 9 April 2026. You do this by joining one of the existing parties or by submitting your own list of candidates. Participation council elections will take place from 1 to 3 June 2026.
