Invent a way to reuse 1,000 laptops

We produce 20 million tons e-waste a year, but it’s time for a new approach. In a circular economy you have no waste.

The ambition of Nederland Circulair! is to reuse laptops in a high-quality way. We invite you to join the Circular Laptop Challenge. The student team with the best idea wins 1,000 laptops and € 1,000  to realise the idea in collaboration with an IT company.

Time scheme

  • 28 September: registrations must be received
  • 17 November: pitch your idea to three IT companies in a Dragons’ Den.
  • 24 January 2017: the three selected teams present their plans to a jury. The winning team will realise the business case.
