The dark days before Christmas are with us once again. You are riding your bike to work or study and back home again in the dark, both mornings and evenings. It is important to have good visibility. Have you got your bike lights on? On Tuesday 10 December, the Royal Dutch Touring Club ANWB will check your lights in Utrecht Science Park and will repair faulty bike lights free of charge.
Yellow ANWB stand
Next Tuesday between 7:00 and 9:00, are you cycling towards Utrecht Science Park via Weg tot de Wetenschap? If so, there is an excellent chance that you will spot the yellow ANWB stand from some way off. The bike check location is by the cycle path at Padualaan 97.
Safe in traffic
On this morning, the ANWB will remind cyclists just how important a good set of bike lights is. Do you ride a bicycle with lights that do not work well or at all? Faulty bike lights will be repaired free of charge or an alternative lamp can be offered and mounted. This way, everyone can go safely back into traffic.
