For your elective credits: 2 new courses on complex contemporary challenges

This spring, we are launching the new honours programme Navigating Insecure Futures, focusing on various themes with uncertain developments, such as the climate crisis, political polarisation, and inequality.

If you're interested but unsure if honours is right for you, here's good news: the first two courses are open to all BA students. You can participate without committing to the entire program, and the course(s) can be included in your elective credits.

Course #1: Building Hope: Designing Pathways for Insecure Futures

In this course, you'll explore issues within an 'uncertain future,' addressing concerns around the climate crisis, polarisation, global injustice, and conflicts. You'll conduct research in different communities, extract lessons, and devise ways to share those insights.

The course runs from February 28 to May 29, with sessions on Wednesdays from 18:00-20:00.

Course #2: Narrative Transformation

Engage in developing new, positive narratives on how to shape society for the better. By crafting stories, you'll create new realities and develop strategies for instigating change.

Narrative Transformation takes place on Saturdays: March 2 and 23, April 13, May 11 and 25, and a closing evening in June.

Registration and more information

You can sign up for one or both courses until February 5 through the registration form on the Navigating Insecure Futures page.
