Financial Support for study delay due to circumstances beyond one’s control

If you have experienced study delay due to circumstances beyond your control, Utrecht University can, in some cases, provide financial support through the student support scheme for financial support in cases of circumstances beyond one’s control.

Have you experienced a study delay during the 2024-2025 academic year due circumstances beyond your control? If so, you may be eligible for financial support, also known as FinSCO. You can submit a digital application via Osiris Case between 1 October and 31 January 2026. Make sure you meet the eligibility criteria before submitting your application.
